2024 was the warmest year ever recorded and 2025 has started of even hotter.

The POW Bike is painted with the ‘warming stripes’ as a visual representation of the change in temperature on earth over the last 100 years. They are, as the scientists, very clear on where we are headed. But this race is not lost, there is still hope!

As a mountain biker I use my love for nature as a driving force to help protecting it.
I think more people feel the same way but we all need good examples and reminders. Maybe Protect Our Winters and this project can serve as inspiration and a starting point for you.

Let’s not wait until wildfire or storms takes our trails away from us until we act.

Vi var många, ingen nämnd ingen glömd. Många var också de obetalda timmarna under de 10 åren, men fantastiskt lärorika år för mig. Utan GF hade jag nog inte gjort det jag gör idag. I mitten av oktober var jag på Irland och Nordirland. Väldigt vackert i norr (nära Newcastle) med de ändlösa stenmurarna. Jag var där i jobbsyfte, men då mitt jobb är bäst så var det precis s&aring
I mitten av oktober var jag på Irland och Nordirland. Väldigt vackert i norr (nära Newcastle) med de ändlösa stenmurarna. Jag var där i jobbsyfte, men då mitt jobb är bäst så var det precis så roligt som det ser ut. Fantastiska människor som på olika sätt arbetar för att sänka trösklarna till friluftslivet för unga. Intensiva dagar men lärorikt. Fick även testa en handikappanpassad MTB vilket var kul men svårt! Sen fick jag också visa mina färdigheter i irländsk dans på scen på klassiska Johnnie Fox i Dublin . 🤙🏼
Idag är det Världsdagen för psykisk hälsa. Cykling i skogen har påvisat goda effekter för att hålla stress med mera i schack. I stort sett alla cyklister jag känner vittnar om detta. För att illustrera hur det kan kännas för mig när volymen i huvudet sänks och allt fokus hamnar på stigen gjorde jag en kortfilm. #worldmentalhealthday #mtb #mtblife #ridemtb #cykla #trailbicycles #mtblove #stigcykling @onthetrail_cykelframjandet
