Use your bike more, it might be an old invention but it’s still the future of transportation -

As an individual you should not compete about who is doing the most, but help each other. You don’t have to call yourself an activist, you don’t have to know everything about this, but you have to do something. Every journey starts somewhere. As a cyclist you’re already on the right way.

  • Means being curious and increasing your knowledge about climate change by asking questions, attending training and following credible news sources.

    Join the fantastic community in POW and use your passion for the outdoors to help protect it. Or simply support the people who do so everyday!

  • Use your democratic rights in the fight for the climate by voting, demonstrating and participating in the political process. For example, you can contact your local politician about an issue you are passionate about or get involved in a party.

  • Traveling smarter can mean taking the train, carpooling, choosing public transport and flying as little as possible.
    If you fly, fly shorter distances and stay away longer once you travel long distances.

  • Living more simply can mean reducing your consumption, caring for and fixing the things you have, and recycling what you no longer need. You can often also rent instead of buying the gadgets you need.

  • Spending better means consuming ethical, ecological, climate-friendly – ​​yes, in all respects sustainable – products and services, but also ensuring that savings are invested ethically.

  • Eat more vegetables in general and choose a protein source based on its climate footprint.

The cycle industry on the other hand should compete and push to make their business the most sustainable. Are you in the cycling industry?
